I ate alot of great food, enjoyed the scenery and of course time visiting with my family. I also set-up a meet & greet for the kids onbase at a local skateshop called, Kahana’s. It went great- tons of kids came out, and everyone involved did a great job promoting it and setting everything up. I gave away tons of product to the kids from hoopla and Vans. They were so happy! A big thanks to my parents, Jessica and Scott for everything. Here are some pics from the trip:

He and his family were nice enough to let a couple hundred people invade their backyard for his 3rd annual bowl session and BBQ. I enjoyed relaxing and watching all the action of the day. Highlights included Bob Burnquist rolling in on his surfboard/skate. Here are a couple of pics!

This is easily one of the most exciting female skate contests of the year; a fun, high-energy-packed setting with the top girls in bowl skating all competing for the $10,000 purse put up by Vans. I helped CB Burnside and Vans plan the event along with the peeps at World Cup Skateboarding. I was also excited to design the name/logo for the event.

The level of girl’s skateboarding is continuing to rise at a rapid rate- and it was one of the most competitive contests I have ever skated in. I was very honored to place 2nd since any one of the top ladies in the finals could have landed on the podium. A big congrats to Allysha Bergado on taking home the first major pro win of her career- and to all the other girls that threw down big in the contest.

A BIG thanks to Vans- and all of the sponsors of the event that hooked up the girls with goodies: Pro-tec, Rockstar Energy Drink, Sambazon, Hoopla, 187 pads, All Girl Skate Jam, Silly Girl, Randoms, Poseidon Fund, Stila cosmetics, and Rockstar bearings.
